Based in their UK headquarters and reporting into the S&OP leader this role has a critical responsibility for delivering a consensus forecast for business worth over £1 billion in sales across the UK.
With responsibility for a large team of demand managers this role is pivotal to the business in achieving real business objectives of inventory optimisation and improvements in forecasting having a direct impact on the release of working capital.
With huge emphasis on driving change and improvements within this large matrix structure this role offers a real challenge and the opportunity to make an impact whilst offering strong career development for high achievers.
We are looking for only the highest calibre Demand Planning Managers with the following qualities and experience:
• Strong Leadership of a demand planning team
• Proven ability to lead significant change
• FMCG background in promotion-led organisations
• Very strong influencing and motivational skills
• Experience in complex EU/Local matrix structures
• Hands on attitude, not theoretical.
• S&OP knowledge/Implementation
• Excellent systems experience with implementation or development being of value
• Highly Numerate
